Daksha qualified in 1989 from Eastman Dental Hospital and has been a Dental Hygienist for over 30 years.
Her work involves helping to improve the dental health of patients and encouraging patients to maintain their oral hygiene. She finds it extremely rewarding working with patients and seeing them achieve this.
In 2019, Daksha had the pleasure of taking her dental expertise to Nepal, to work for a charity in Gorkha, where she helped and taught underprivileged children and adults how to care for their oral health.
Outside of work, her hobbies include dancing, painting, jewellery-making, and trekking, having summited the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Machu Picchu in Peru and the latest one being Everest base camp in 2022. She is also an avid runner and completed half a marathon in February 2020 to raise money for pancreatic cancer.
